The stay came after hearing a petition filed by director K Balaji Kumar earlier this month, in which he claimedīhumika joins 'Kannai Nambathey' starring Udhayanidhi Stalin The Madras High Court on June 11 ordered an interim injunction on the film's release, and asked the film's producers to respond by June 21. The film’s producer Mathiyalagan confirmed to Tnm that it will hit the screens this July. On Friday, Justice Krishnan Ramasamy of the Madras High Court cancelled the stay order and allowed the film to be released.
